Could you forgive a person who murdered your family? Two Rwandan women come face-to-face with the men who slaughtered their families during the 1994 genocide. The subjects of As We Forgive speak for a nation still reeling from a genocide that exterminated nearly one million Rwandans. Overwhelmed by a backlog of court cases, authorities released more than 50,000 prisoners to the communities they destroyed. At a loss for justice, Rwanda turns to reconciliation.
