Based on a true story, this charming film explores the relationship of an extraordinary black bear and the heroic man who saved her life and gave her to the world. In the heat of World War I, a young lieutenant (Michael Fassbender, Band of Brothers) buys a tiny bear cub from a hunter and brings her into his army unit as a mischievous mascot. It is this relationship that inspired A.A. Milne to write his famous tales.
