This intriguing film recounts the character, faith and leadership of British Parliamentarian William Wilberforce and his heroic 20-year fight for the 1807 abolition of the transatlantic slave trade. The one-hour documentary, sponsored by the John Templeton Foundation, is being produced to coincide with international events in 2007 commemorating the 200th anniversary of the abolition of British and American slave trade in a 20-year heroic effort led by Wilberforce.
