At an all-time low, a small town challenges itself to take on an enormous, near-impossible ‘crazy’ goal – to give more blood in one day per person than any other town or city in the United States – and in the process, discovers who it is and what it’s capable of in a post-recession world. This is the story of a small town’s profound reaction to uncertain times, and about townspeople struggling to come together to rise again just once more. Their quest to go after the unthinkable goal is not about ‘taking blood’ but about giving life-blood back to the community.
