On the last day of summer in 2011, filmmaker Nirvan Mullick pulls into a random auto parts store and meets 9-year-old Caine Monroy standing behind an elaborate cardboard arcade he has built out of boxes inside his dad’s store. Nirvan becomes Caine’s first official customer, then hatches a plan to give Caine the best day of his life.
