Against all odds, FedEx engineer Chuck Noland survives as his plane crashes en route to Malaysia. Chuck is the sole survivor and finds himself washed ashore on a deserted island.  Chuck must use his problem solving skills to survive from day to day on the island. What keeps Chuck going is a picture of his fiancée, Kelly; Chuck holds on to her memory and refuses to give up.
