Fantasia
Walt Disney envisioned Fantasia as a marriage of animation and music, the latter provided by composers ranging from Bach to Mussorgsky and performed by the Leopold Stokowski-conducted Philadelphia Orchestra. The Oscar-winning film is composed of eight segments, including “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice,” in which Disney himself provides the voice of Mickey.
