Like everyone in Riverton, Indiana, 17-year-old Gar (Haley Joel Osmet) loves his hometown basketball team.  His best friend, Matt, is the star point guard and toast of the town.  When Matt persuades Gar to take part in the robbery of a small-time drug dealer, things don’t go as planned.  Gar faces the challenge of saving the team from a desperate predicament with the state championship and Matt’s future on the line. Home of the Giants is a coming-of-age tale that constantly surprises, and at the same time, conveys universal themes.
