When doctors diagnosed 19-year-old rock star Jason Becker with Lou Gehrig’s Disease, they said he would never make music again and that he wouldn’t live to see his 25th birthday. 22 years later, without the ability to move or to speak, Jason is alive and making music with his eyes. It’s the incredible story of a guitar legend who refuses to give up on his dream of being a musician despite the most incredible odds. It is a story of dreams, love and the strength of the human spirit.

A rising star in 80s rock bands, Jason had just reached a pinnacle, replacing Steve Vai in David Lee Roth’s band, when the symptoms of ALS began. Just when you think you know where this story will go, it takes unexpected turns. Always close to his family, Jason has been lovingly cared for by his parents and caregivers, extending his life far beyond expectations. Most striking is Jason’s own attitude and will to live. Though he can only communicate with his eyes, he continues to compose music and release albums. This is not a story of a rock band guitarist, it’s the story of remarkable talent, that through love and a strong will to live continues despite debilitating physical obstacles.
