Karla’s World

All 10-year-old Karla wants for Christmas is for her family to be together, but since her parents’ divorce, Karla’s father has been distant. Her mom and step dad are too busy to bake cookies and are in no mood for trimming the tree. It is too much for Karla to handle. She decides to run away to her friend Molly’s house, but Molly is already en route to the perfect family Christmas with her grandparents. Disillusioned, Karla wanders off and befriends a homeless man named Buster.
