In 1957 Louisiana, Elvis is King and Dani Trant is 14 going on womanhood. She’s the middle child in a family of four with a strict father and a beautiful, perfect older sister. When the Fosters, a widowed mother and her boys, return to the once abandoned ranch next door, Dani’s life will never be the same.  Seventeen year old Court is balancing the responsibilities of the farm with the uncertainty of being a teenager. When he discovers Dani swimming one day, the two form a quick friendship and begin sneaking away for swims. But with their friendship comes feelings of romance that neither of these young hearts are prepared for.
