After missing the bus, Matt finds himself sitting down in the school bathroom to eat his ‘boring’ lunch of PB&J and potato chips. However, an interesting stranger makes his acquaintance and begins to uncover some of Matt’s problems. As the cause of Matt’s isolation is revealed, the moving away of his best friend, he becomes more comfortable with talking to this stranger, though not yet confident with himself. Fed up with Matt’s inability to think positively and just ‘get out there,’ the stranger relates some problems of his own, causing Matt to discover he has much more in common with this person than he previously thought.
