Every Christmas, under-achieving primary school teacher Mr. Maddens and his adversary, Mr. Shakespeare of the local private school, compete for a 5-star review of their nativity plays. And every year Shakespeare’s privileged students win. While preparing this year’s production Maddens makes an idle boast: his Xmas Xtravaganza has attracted the attention of Hollywood!
