A disheveled piano, Victoria, is visited and played daily by many of San Francisco’s homeless and low-income population. Victoria is out of tune, missing keys and her pedals are broken. As one guest says, “The piano is just like us. She may be all broken but she still plays. She still has a melody.” An upright grand that has seen better days, Victoria has never sounded so good.
