Walking the Camino: Six Ways to Santiago

One could call this the documentary version of The Way. Whether you have seen that film starring Martin Sheen or not, you will be completely taken in by the journey and its real-life travelers. Called a “brilliant documentary” by Martin Sheen, this film takes us along the 500-mile path across northern Spain traversed by millions for over 1,200 years known to be extremely spiritually, emotionally and physically challenging. Pilgrims of all backgrounds undertake the Camino de Santiago with no idea how their paths will unfold, what personal demons or angels they will face, or what transformations they will undergo by trail’s end.

The film follows six very different travelers, who, with life stripped down to the basics of a backpack, boots and a path, are drawn to examine their personal beliefs and life purpose. The Camino has the magnetic and miraculous power to change lives. You, too, will find the journey, the gorgeous scenery and its pilgrims fascinating and surprising.
