Dan Macintosh is in his early 40s and has just lost his wife in a horrific car accident. As a means to revive him from his self-inflicted depression, Dan’s younger brother, Johnny, shows up to help “bring him back to life”. As Dan finds himself returning to a happier state of being, things begin to change. The motive behind Johnny’s visit is revealed and things spiral out of control.
The sudden death of his sister-in-law has struck a chord with Johnny and helped him realize that life can be pulled away from you at any moment. Acting irrationally while armed with a new lease on life, Johnny decides to depart his decade long marriage, the true reason he’s come to stay with Dan.
Dan, overwhelmed with anger at both his situation and his brother’s impulsive actions, takes it upon himself to be an ambassador in saving Johnny’s marriage. Amidst an emotionally volatile environment where family bonds are shaken, Dan finds himself searching within to uncover his personal issues of loss & projection.
