In December 1944, during the thick of World War II, German soldiers massacred over one hundred Allied prisoners of war. Some of the men facing death escaped into nearby woods. Four American soldiers did just that, encountering a British pilot in their escape. Together, the five men embark on a dangerous journey back to safe territory.
